Still Becoming explores the beauty of what is left behind. Layers of rich magenta are brushed, scraped and partially obscured, allowing fragments of earlier marks to remain visible beneath the surface. The central field of light creates a quiet pause within the composition, balancing energy with stillness. Rather than concealing its history, the painting embraces it—each layer becoming part of the final work, much like the worn walls and lived-in interiors that continue to inspire my practice.
